- Description
- Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to dredge the boat basin at USCG Station St. Ignace, MI. The estimated dredge quantity is 500 cubic yards and shall be performed by mechanical means. A unit price for additional dredging will be required. Dredge materials shall be deposited onto barges for offloading to trucks for hauling to upland disposal site. Before and after soundings of the area to be performed by a USCG approved registered surveyor. A calculation of quantity of dredged material (cubic yards) to be prepared from the soundings. Remove five (5) boulders, weighing approximately 4500 lbs. each, from the boat basin and place on the breakwater. A unit price will also be required, per boulder, in case of additional boulders. The period of performance is 60 days after contractor's receipt of the Notice to Proceed. This procurement is estimated between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00 and in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, is open to both small and large businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 234990 (formerly SIC Code (1629). The Small Business Size standard is $17.0 million. The due date for quotes is approximately January 29, 2002. This office does not issue solicitation or amendments in paper form.
