Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center at Memphis, TN is soliciting proposals to contract for whole blood, red blood cells, fresh frozen plasma, platelets, cryoprecipitates, apheresis and washed red blood cells and other products. Contract will cover date of award through September 30, 2002. A multiple award contract is anticipated from This solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the government. Written request for solicitation shall be in writing to the Contracting Officer. Fax request will also be accepted at (901) 577-7242. NAICS code 621991 applies to procurement. Solicitation packet will be issued on or about December 10, 2001.
