Description

The VA Medical Center, Bath New York is seeking professional architectural/engineering firms to perform investigative service, provide feasibility report, and design complete air conditioning system for entire building, prepare cost estimate and bid documents (contract drawings and specifications) and provide construction period services and site visits to air condition B-34 at VA Medical Center, Bath, New York. Building 34 is a domiciliary building. Building 34 has a basement and three (3) floors with approximately 7,500 gross square foot per floor. Electrical service to building and available electrical panels and systems will require evaluation and consideration. Additional electrical service and revisions may be required and shall be included in design. The following Evaluation Criteria will be used during the A/E selection process: 1. Specialized experience of the firm to perform the work required. 2. Capability of the firm to perform the work within required time frames. 3. Past Performance. 4. Specific experience and qualifications of the proposed personnel assigned to the project design team. 5. Geographic location of the firm?s working office in relation to the renovation site. Firms desiring consideration must have a working office located within 165 miles of Bath New York city limits. All interested A/E firms are invited to submit 254s and 255s. THIS PROJECT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR EMERGING SMALL BUSINESSES. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. Responses must be received before January 3, 2002.
