Description

Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment and supplies necessary for providing janitorial services for Hampton National Cemetery, Cemetery Road at Marshall Avenue, Hampton, VA 23669. Work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications of the contract. Contract will be from the date of contract award through September 30, 2002 with four one-year options to extend the term of the contract to September 30, 2006. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small businesses. The NAICS Code is 561720. Size standard is $12.0 million. Requests for a hard copy of this solicitation must be in writing. No telephone requests will be accepted. Requests should be addressed to Cheryl Harding, Purchasing Agent, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, Centralized Contracting Division (402D3), 5105 Russell Road, Quantico, VA 22134-3903. Requests for hard copy must be accompanied by a cashier's check or money order in the amount of $5.00 (non-refundable), payable to "U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs." Please reference solicitation number RFQ 786-32-02 on remittance. Hard copy solicitations will be available on or about December 28, 2001, via the ordinary mail. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from the URL address on or about December 28, 2001. Responses to the solicitation are due by 4:00 p.m., January 11, 2002.
