Description
NA The Defense Contracting Command Washington, on behalf of the Tricare Management Activity(TMA), intends to negotitate on a sole source basis with Maximus, Inc., 1356 Beverly Road,McLean, VA 22101. The contractor shall provide maintenance and support to al l users of Champus Management Information System (CMIS). This level of maintenance will incude hot-line availability, implementation of software changed to correct errors through an established Software Problem Report (SPR) system, and any MAXPAR software upgrades necessary to keep the application fully functional on all MICROSOFT operating system changes which DoD may adopt. The support shall include all modifications an enhancements to the CMIS Windows product. The contractor shall respond with 24 hour s after the initial phone call is made or e-mail is sent for the hot-line availability and the software error correction. TMA-Aurora ADP contract support personnel will be the first level of support and all field user inquiries. The contractor shall serve as second level of support for those questions which personnel cannot resolve. Direct contact with the contractor will be limited to TMA-Aurora government personnel and its ADP contract support personnel. There is no solicitation document available for c ontractors to review. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing respnses to this synopsis of intent, the contracting officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any firms that response to this synopsis of intent or otherwise requested a copy of the solicitation will received the solicitation automatically, if one is established. However, contractors wishing to submit clear and specific documentation showing evidence of their ability to provide the services may do so by forwarding same to the Defense Contracting Command Washington, Attn: Helen Furlow, 5200 Army Pentagon, Washington, DC 20310-5200. No telephonic request shal l be honored.***** This requirement will be processed under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(1) only one responsible source and other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This resulting purchase order will not exceed the simplified acquis ition threshold. The procedure of FAR Part 13.106.3 shall be utilized.
