- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial terms prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number RFQ DAHA14-02-Q-0011 is issued as a Request for Quotation, under simplified acquisition procedures on small business small purchase set-aside basis. The FSC Code is 4920. The Kansas Air National Guard intends to procure the following line item: CLIN 0001 -- NSN 4920-01-478-5195 -- 1 each -- Life Support and Communications Tester, MFG PN 6112300, the unit must be self contained and be able to test oxygen and communications systems and requires no external source of compressed oxygen. If you are planning on bidding an equivalent, you must provide adequate documentation of approval for use by U.S. Military. We have obtained authority to local purchase this item. We consider this item a safety of flight issue. The anticipated award date will be made on or before 31 December 2001. This Combined Synopsis/Solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-27 and Defense Acquisition Circular (DCN 20011206). The closing date will be 24 December 2001 by COB (4:00 PM Central Time Zone). The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3728, and the North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 334613, with a size standard of 1000 employees. Delivery is FOB Destination. Desired Delivery time is 15 days after receipt of order, required delivery time is 30 days ARO. The following FAR and DFARS clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial applies to this acquisition; 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items. FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name Or Equal. The Government will award a contract resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible Offeror whose quotes conforming to this synopsis/solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. All responsible sources may submit quotes, which, if timely received, the Government shall consider. FAR 52.212-3, Offer Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, Offerors are to include a completed copy of the provision with its quote. Interested parties shall furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide the items sought including pricing data and technical data sufficient enough to determine that a comparable source to the government is available to the Contracting Officer NLT 20 December 2001.
