Description
NA This proposed procurement is Unrestricted, open to both large and small business concerns. NAICS 233320/ SIC Code 1542, size standard $27,500,000.00. Estimated cost of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Bonding will be required for th is acquisition. This project is located at Holloman Air Force Base, Otero County, New Mexico. The offerors attention is directed to Section 00100 in the Solicitation for information regarding the tour of the site. The approximate construction period is 600 calendar days. Plans will be issued on or about December 28, 2001, with proposals due on or about January 30, 2002. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. MEDICAL CLINIC ALTERATION: Work consists of converting the existing medical facility from a small hospital to an outpatient clinic. Alter existing facility (44,621 SF of inpatient areas) in the east wing to outpatient clinics consisting of two primary care panels & flight medicine/physical exams area. Provide new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, & information systems for the renovated clinics. Renovate the lobby, pharmacy, & portions of the existing outpatient areas in the west wing to support relocated ad ministrative & clinic functions. Phasing of work is required. Parts of the facility will be operational during construction. Work includes interior demolition, asbestos and LBP abatement, new partitions, new mechanical and electrical upgrades & new interio r finishes. Exterior work includes demolition of two existing buildings, miscellaneous site improvements and utilities. The project will be advertised as a Request for Proposal. Competitive proposals will be evaluated based on the evaluation criteria set forth in the solicitation package. Evaluation by the Government will result in selection of a firm that represents the be st advantage to the Government. Proposed procurement will result in a fixed-price contract. Large business firms are required to submit a subcontracting plan. The subcontracting goals are 61.4% for small business, 9.1% for small disadvantaged business, 5.0% for women owned small business, 1.5% for HUBZone small businesses and 3% for service disabled veteran owned small business. The subcontracting plan needs to be submitted at time of receipt for proposals. Bidders must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), in order to receive a Government Contract award. If you have not registered previously, click on: New User and follow the instructions for Login Information. This will require you to establish a user na me and password. Keep the user name and password and share it with anyone else in your organization that is responsible for r egistering your firm on Plan Holder List.
