- NA This is a Notice of Intent to award a sole-source contract under FAR 6.302-1 to Laser Diagnostics Technologies. Laser Diagnostics Technologies is the manufacturer of the Nerve Fiber Analyzer and is the only known source to have access to the proprietary s oftware that is required. This requirement is to provide maintenance service and repair to include all part, labor and travel to include software updates on Multi Input Manger with components. The period of performance will be for a base year and (4) fou r option years, from 1 February 2002 through 31 January 2003. This request is being issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) authorized in FAR subpart 13.5 Test Program for certain Commercial Items and will result in single firm fixed-priced contract. The NAICS for this acquisition is 811310 with a size standard of $5 million. Note: 22 Applies.****
