Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Point Mugu, CA 93042 plans to procure on other than full and open competition from McDonnell Douglas Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Company, P.O. Box 516, St. Louis, MO 63166-0491, Contractor Engineering Technical Services (CETS) in support of the HARPOON/SLAM ER Missiles: AGM84A/C/D/E/H/K; ATM84A/C/D/E/H/K; DSM127 and related support equipment. The equipment was designed, developed, manufactured and has been supported by Boeing. They posses proprietary technical data required to maintain the HARPOON/SLAM ER Missiles. The requirement is for CETS to provide various fleet and shore activities with an estimated 6 man months of effort in the form of on-call tasks for the purpose of informing, instructing and training Department of Defense personnel in the installation, operation and maintenance of the continuously modified systems of the HARPOON/SLAM ER Missiles and related control equipment. These services will also be in connection with diagnosing and correcting problems that keep equipment in a ?down? status. CFS personnel must be capable of handling the most complex and intricate equipment problems. Access to and understanding of the technical database for specific equipment is essential. The period of performance will be from award through 30 September 2002, with two one-year option periods. The offer must have complete and detailed information that includes the total number of employees and professional qualifications of personnel specially qualified in the CETS area as outlined; an outline of previous CETS efforts including specific services previously performed or being performed in the listed CETS area; specific resumes of representatives detailing their qualifications and any other available descriptive literature.
