Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for noncommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00164-02-Q-0059 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The Small Business Set-Aside is hereby dissolved in accordance with FAR 13.105. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-01 as well as DCN 20011101. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334511 and the business size standard is 750 employees. This requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001 - 10 ea Edgelit UHF Aux, Raytheon AIS P/N 97080800-001; CLIN 0002 - 10 ea Relay Box, Raytheon AIS P/N 98040833-001; CLIN 0003 - 5 ea UHF Timing Control, Raytheon AIS P/N 97080834-001. This requirement is being issued as a sole source to Raytheon Aircraft Integration Systems, 7401 Maehr Road, Waco, TX 76715. Raytheon AIS is in possession of all proprietary data. Raytheon Systems Company is the original equipment manufacturer for the Edgelit UHF Aux, Relay Box and Timing Control these units must integrate precisely with the existing systems in terms of form, fit and function. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination within 180 days after award. Partial shipments will be accepted. Inspection and acceptance will be performed by a DCMC representative. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the Agency. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. NOTE: Provisions with a ?Fill-in? MUST be filled out completely and submitted with the offer.
