Description
1 ORDER TOTALING 200 KITS DESTINATION: NORTH CAROLINA 8040-00-209-1286 UI: KT ADHESIVE : DESCRIPTION A low-viscosity, room temperature curing, structural airframe grade, epoxy adhesive system for service temperatures to 350 deg. F. Size: The product shall be furnished in 1 quart kit quantities as separately packaged base resin and curing agent in the manufacturer's original containers and in accordance with normal commercial practice. There shall be no interaction chemically or physically with the contents which would damage the containers or alter the strength, quality, or purity of the contents. The containers shall be closed so that the contents will not spill or leak from the containers during shipment, handling, storage, and redistribution. Packaged components shall be further wrapped, boxed, or containerized together (hot-melt method alone not acceptable) as a complete unit in kit form so that they shall not accidentally separate during shipment, handling, storage, and redistribution. Shelf life code: 4 (12 months) Maximum age on delivery: 2 months Shelf life storage marking requirement: Store below 75F. Loctite/Dexter-Hysol Inc. p/n EA 9396. ITEM MARKING Each item shall be marked with the following: (1) lot or batch number (2) dates of manufacture or shipment, as appropriate, and reinspection (3) instructions for use, thinning, mixing, shaking, etc. (4) instructions for storage, i.e. do not freeze, requires refrigeration, etc. (5) each kit component shall be marked with the kit name and component part. (6) manufacturer's name and part number (7) if applicable, the maximum volatile organic compound content (VOC), less water and exempt solvents, in lbs/gl or grams/liter on quart sizes or larger. PACKAGING PACKAGING: Material packaged as specified above shall be packed in a close-fitting, corrugated, fiberboard box conforming to Section 6(a), Rule 41 of the Uniform Freight Classification and Item 222 of the National Motor Freight Classification (200 minimum burst). Closure of the boxes shall be in accordance with Section 7 of Rule 41 of the Uniform Freight Classification. Gross weight of the box and contents shall not exceed 65 pounds. MARKING All unit, intermediate, transport packages and unit loads shall be marked for delivery to civilian activities in accordance with the FED-STD-123G, dated June 6, 1997, or marked for delivery to military activities in accordance with MIL-STD-129N, dated 15, May, 1997, as applicable. MUST BE AMERICAN MADE MSDS MUST BE INCLUDED WITH YOUR QUOTE
