- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure from Aqueous Technologies, on a Sole Source basis, a PC Computer Controlled Aqueous Cleaning System & PCB De-Fluxer, Model SMT800-LD. The cleaning system must meet the following requirements: 1) accept a chemical that will clean rosin fluxes, and a non health hazard and is compatible with Kern/San Bernardino air pollution controls, 2) must require no building modifications or electrical modifications and be ready to operate when received, 3) be compatible with a Salution 2000 Reagent Grade Reverse Osmosis System, 4) American made parts and easy to obtain, to avoid downtime of the machine, 5) be easy to operate, 6) low maintenance ? i.e. no daily checking of chemical or rinse solutions for contamination, 7) acceptable dimensions of the cleaning system are: maximum: 36? D, 60? L, 70? H and minimum: 32? D, 44? L, 63? H; the minimum size, controls the maximum size printed circuit boards and when the door is open on the machine, it can be no deeper that 55?-58?; 8) an operator five foot in height or taller, must be able to stand on the floor and operate the machine. The sole source is based on unique capabilities. Any firms believing that they can provide the PC Computer Controlled Aqueous Cleaning System & PCB De-Fluxer may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, clearly showing its ability to do so without causing programmatic hardship to the program.
