- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for Connector Assembly, Torpedo Receptacle, in accordance with Department of the Navy Drawing Number 6990510 and its associated drawings. The solicitation is for a base quantity with 4 option quantities. The best estimated base quantity is 500 units each. First articles are required from unproven sources in the quantity of 4 each. Option 1 will be exercised within approximately 365 days after first article approval (FAA); Option 2 will be exercised within approximately 730 days after FAA; Option 3 will be exercised within approximately 1095 days after FAA; and Option 4 will be exercised within approximately 1460 days FAA. Delivery of the first articles is requested in approximately 180 days after contract award. First articles will be FOB destination NUWC, Keyport, WA 98345-5000. It is desired that the contractor deliver 50 units approximately every 60 days. The 100% small business set-aside (NAICS 334417), non-commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 14 Jan 02 with a 30 day closing date. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which FISCPS shall consider. The solicitation will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. An email request to jennifer_e_santiago@puget.fisc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFP from the NECO website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFP / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. To be procured using FAR Part 15 procedures. Notes 1 and 26 apply.
