- This is a modification to the two previously submitted Commerce Business Daily announcement Submission number 50D9C9, dated February 16, 2001, 50I2K5, dated April 4, 2001, and the Federal Business Opportunities announcement dated November 5, 2001 regarding the design and construction of a Medium Security Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) to be located in Butner, North Carolina. The following changes are hereby incorporated: (1)the Unicor Warehouse (for Prisons Industries) has been removed from this requirement; (2) Delete the sentence ?Participation by small, small-disadvantaged, HUBZone small businesses and small women-owned businesses is encouraged?. Add ?Participation by small, small-disadvantaged, HUBZone small businesses, small women-owned businesses, veteran owned small businesses and service disabled veteran-owned small businesses is encouraged?; (3) Delete ?Offerors included in Phase Two will be required to submit a subcontracting plan for this procurement regarding the utilization of small, small-disadvantaged, HUBZone small businesses and small women-owned businesses and veteran owned small businesses?. Add ?Offerors included in Phase Two will be required to submit a subcontracting plan for this procurement regarding the utilization of small, small-disadvantaged, HUBZone small businesses, small women-owned businesses, veteran owned small businesses and service disabled veteran-owned small businesses?; (4) Add Quality Control and Assurance to the Phase Two evaluation factors.
