- Description
- The FBI intends to negotiate with Beckman Coulter, Inc., 4300 North Harbor Boulevard, Fullerton, CA 92834-3100, on a sole source basis under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), for renewal of its Maintenance Agreement for one (1) base-year and four (4) one- year renewal options, for the following Capillary Electrophoresis Instruments: Model Pace5000, S/N 7100220; Model Pace5000, S/N PC5E04; Model Pace5000, S/N 7100251; Model Pace5010, S/N 7101042; Model PaceMDQ, S/N 3060853; and Model PaceMDQ, S/N 3060852 . The Maintenance Agreement includes full service support including unlimited emergency services, scheduled preventive maintenance, replacement parts, and engineering modifications. This synopsis is for a Commercial Item prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included herein. This action is being processed in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures including provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular #97-27. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may, within fifteen (15) calendar days after the date of this publication, identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting a proposal to include technical/pricing data and any other information which shows a bona fide ability to meet this requirement. All proposals received within fifteen (15) calendar days after the date of this synopsis will be considered at the sole discretion of the Government for making a determination whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
