- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Point Mugu, CA 93042-5049 is soliciting proposals on a full and open competitive basis from qualified organizations for the purpose of informing, instructing and training Department of the Navy personnel in the installation, operation and maintenance of the KC-130 series Aircraft Airframe (AF). The period of performance will commence approximately 1 May 2002 through 30 September 2002, Option Year 1 from 1 October 2002 through 30 September 2003, Option Year 2 from 1 October 2003 though 30 September 2004 and, Option Year 3 from 1 October 2004 through 30 April 2005. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, cost or price and other factors specified elsewhere in the solicitation, considered. This solicitation is being issued unrestricted and is being classified under NAICS Code 541330 (SIC 8711) ($20.0M). Phone and fax request for solicitation will not be accepted. The solicitation will be made available on the Internet using Microsoft Word 97 format and will reside on the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, 2.0 Contracts Competency homepage : https://contracts.nawcwd.navy.mil/rfp-nawc.htm on or about 17 January 2002. It is the offeror's responsibility to check this website for any amendments that may be issued to the solicitation and acknowledge them as a part of any proposal submission.
