- Description
- The Naval Oceanographic Office intends to solicit and award, on an other than full and open competitive (sole source) basis, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, a purchase order to SeaBird Electronics, Inc., Bellevue, WA. The solicitation is SIC 3829, measuring & controlling devices. NEC. Size standard of 500 employees. The purchase order type will be firm fixed priced. The requirement is for the inspection, testing, refurbishment, modification, and calibration of the SeaBird 19 CTD systems. SeaBird Electronics is the OEM and sole distributor of the SBE 19 CTD systems, and the only contractor equipped to perform the needed repairs, design modifications, and calibrations to meet the Government specifications and requirements.
