Description

The Southern Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Charleston, S.C. intends to award a sole source contract to Landmark Organization. This acquisition provides for the repair/replace of the existing utilities in family housing at the Naval Air Station, Corpus Christi, TX. The contractor shall provide services to include replace/repair the sanitary sewer lines, water lines, gas lines, and the electrical distribution systems in the existing family housing. Contractors shall submit questions concerning this synopsis by e-mail to the attention of the Contracting Officer, Larry R. Fisk, at FISKLR@efdsouth.navfac.navy.mil or to the Contract Specialist, Stephen L. Cannon at CannonSL@efdsouth.navfac.navy.mil The Government will only consider questions or comments submitted via e-mail. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to solicit only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. The Government selected Landmark Organization as the sole source provider based on their ability to meet the requirements without an unacceptable delay or substantial duplication of cost. The Government further confirmed Landmark Organization as the only responsible source based on the urgency of the PPV project and the need to minimize disruption of utility services to tenants. This synopsis is for informational/planning purposes only and IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL nor does its issuance restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will NOT reimburse the contractor for any cost associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. See Note 22.
