Description

The Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center, Phoenix, AZ, (RFMS/90C) 650 E. Indian School Road, is seeking a contractor to provide a Modular Laboratory Animal Facility to house mice as required by the specifications. The site will be located in a currently unused area that will accommodate one building approximately 14 feet wide X 70 feet long. The building must be fabricated to standards that will allow the Medical Center to become accredited by the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care International (AAALAC International). The unit will house animal cage racks, animal cage washer, HVAC system, and will consist of individual spaces for Entrance Room, Animal Holding Rooms, Cage Washer Room, Quarantine Room, Receiving and Storage Room and Mechanical Room. Site preparation will be done exclusive of this solicitation. This is a Request for Quotations (RFQ). NAICS code for this project is 321991. The size standard for this code is 500 employees.
