Description

The GLAC (Great Lakes Acquisition Center) is soliciting quotations to provide VA Medical Center, North Chicago, IL radio-pharmaceutical products. Anticipated period of performance is base year, February 1, 2002 through January 31, 2003 plus two option years at the discretion of the Government. . Contract type is firm-fixed price. Rapid delivery time is essential and may require one-hour delivery. Anticipated award effective date is February 1,2002. Electronic version and hard copy of solicitation will be available on or about January 4, 2002. This solicitation is issued under the authority of Public Law 104-262 and 38 USC 8153. Contract award is subject to availability of funds. NAICS number is 42221, Drugs and Druggists? Sundries. If the Great Lakes Acquisition Center does not receive responses by due date of January 18, 2002, it will negotiate a sole-source procurement with Amersham Healthcare. Electronic solicitation may be obtained FREE at the following URL: http://www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp/sols.htm. Requests for hard copy solicitation must be in writing to the GLAC Contact Point and accompanied by a check for $5.00 made out to the Department of Veterans Affairs. No telephone requests will be accepted. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at the URL address.
