Description

The GLAC (Great Lakes Acquisition Center) is soliciting quotations to provide all labor, materials, equipment, travel, parts and supervision for full maintenance and repairs for communications closets and air conditioning units located at Hines VA Hospital, Hines, IL. Anticipated period of performance is February 1,2002 through January 31 2003 with one (1), one-year option renewal period, at the Government?s discretion. A site inspection can be scheduled by contacting Hayward Collins at 708-202-1152. Contract type is firm-fixed price. This procurement is a small business set-aside. Anticipated award effective date is February 1, 2002. Electronic version and hard copy of solicitation will be available on or about January 3, 2002. This solicitation is issued under the authority of Public Law 104-262 and 38 USC 8153. This procurement is being conducted under the Subpart 13.5 test program where simplified acquisition procedures apply and the conduct of the procurement will be in accordance with Parts 12, 13, or 15 of the FAR or some combination thereof. Contract award is subject to availability of funds. NAICS number is 235110. Size standard is $11.5 million. Non-personal services. Requests for hard copy solicitation must be in writing to the GLAC Contact Point and accompanied by a check for $5.00 made out to the Department of Veterans Affairs.
