Description

The Federal Correctional Institution, La Tuna, Anthony, TX, intends to issue solicitation RFQ-51002-001-2 for the provision of a Social Resource (Career Guidance) Instructor for the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) and Federal Prison Camp (FPC) in Anthony, TX and the Federal Satellite Low (FSL) in El Paso, TX. The contractor will be responsible for preparing and teaching classes for career guidance and job preparation. The contractor will provide a written curriculum and individual lesson plans for the program. The curriculum will address job preparation skills. The contractor will ensure that program graduates have a completed resume. The contractor will maintain records of progress, certificates of completion, enrollment records, and withdrawal records. The students are adult male offenders. The solicitation will be made available on or about December 26, 2001, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is January 14, 2002. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered.
