Description

The Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to remove seven (7) single phase 115/69-kV power transformers, 69-and 115-kV bus, structures and associated equipment and install one Government-furnished 3-phase 115/69-kV power transformer, 69- and 115-kV bus, structures, and associated equipment at the Glendive Substation in Dawson County, Montana. This solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis. All responsible business concerns may submit a bid which shall be considered by this Agency. Estimated construction magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This solicitation will be issued on or about January 25, 2002. The projected bid opening date is on or about February 28, 2002. All work shall be completed by December 1, 2002. All requests for the solicitation must be in writing and may be mailed to the Western Area Power Administration, 200 4th Street SW, Huron, SD 57350 or faxed to (605) 353-9213. NOTE: A limited number of copies of this solicitation will be available through various planrooms. Information hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm (CST) Monday through Friday.
