Description

Subject: Enforcement Fingerprint Verifiers SOLNBR:5TC1502041, Response Date: January 14, 2002. Contact: POC Irma Sauseda (312)886-3825. GSA/FTS, Region 5 is announcing its intent to issue a procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302.3 for a sole source acquisition to Cross Match Technologies, Inc. 3960 RCA Boulevard, Suite 6001, Palm Beach Gardens, FL. 33410. Products and services required for work to be accomplished are: Equipment required for accomplishment of INS mission of Enforcement standards. These are Fingerprint systems in existence at INS for Border Patrol and INS Field Offices. Required systems are only available from Cross Match Technologies who is the manufacturer of the Enforcement Fingerprint System equipment. Estimated number of systems required is about 750 each. These systems will be purchased at various purchasing times. This requirement is identified by reference numer 5TC1502032. NAICS Code 4214- (Professional and Commercial Equipment and Supplies Wholesale) applies. Size standard is 500+ employees. Intersted persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirment or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals by the designated response date. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determinine whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future, if another requirement arises.
