Description

The GLAC (Great Lakes Acquisition Center) is soliciting quotations for the Lease of an Automated Immunostaining System, for the Hines VA Hospital, Hines, IL. Anticipated period of performance is April 1, 2002 through March 31, 2003 with two (2), one-year option renewal periods, at the Government's discretion. This procurement is a small business set-aside. Anticipated award effective date is April 1, 2002. Electronic version and hard copy of solicitation will be available on or about January 11, 2002. This solicitation is issued under the authority of Public Law 104-262 and 38 USC 8153. This procurement is being conducted under the Subpart 13.5 test program where simplified acquisition procedures apply and the conduct of the procurement will be in accordance with Parts 12, 13, or 15 of the FAR or some combination thereof. Contract award is subject to availability of funds. NAICS number is 334516. Size standard is 500 employees. Electronic solicitation may be obtained FREE at the following URL: http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/solicitation. Requests for hard copy solicitation must be in writing to the GLAC Contact Point and accompanied by a check for $5.00 made out to the Department of Veterans Affairs.
