Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The California Army National Guard has a requirement for the issue and cleaning of coveralls and shop towels on a weekly basis. Contractor will provide initia l issue of olive drab or navy blue coveralls and (1) bundle of 200 each grade B or better shop towels per location. Additionally, contractor will provide a weekly pick up, and exchange for clean serviceable shop towels and coveralls. Route service would include all (38) of California Army National Guard Maintenance shops. This will be for a total of (525) employees to be issued (2) coveralls each for a total of (1,050) coveralls. Each Maintenance Shop location will coordinate with the contractor for pic k up and delivery schedules. Contractor will provide serviceable coveralls when issued sets become ?unserviceable?. Award will be based on lowest price. Payment will be on a monthly basis (one invoice). One contract award for the entire state. Areas t hat the contractor is unable to service directly will be identified as non-service areas and WILL NOT BE SUBCONTRACTED TO ANOTHER SERVICE PROVIDER. Contract is for the period of 2/1/02 thru 9/30/02 with 2 option years. Environmental fees to be included f or (38) locations with bid. Statement of Work and location listing will be provided upon request. If a change occurs in this requirement after closing, only those Offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. All vendors MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Duns & Bradstreet, CAGE Code & Federal Tax ID numbers MUST be submitted with quote.
