Description: NA Engineering and logistics services for fielding and post production support of the Hydro-Mechanical Assembly (HMA) and Digital Electronic Control Unit (DECU) on the T-55-GA-714A Engine. The intent of this proposed action is to award a new firm fixed price contract for T55-GA-714A, DECU and HMA, Logistics and Engineering Services. The contract will cover a base year period and an additional one-year option. This pocurement is restricted to Chandler Evans Control Systems, Cage Code 11599, Charter Oak Blvd. , Box 330651, West Hartford, CT 06133-0651. Chandler Evans Control Systems (CECS) owns design and manufacturing rights to the T55-GA-714A Engine DECU and HMA and is the prime manufacturer. Because of the significant DECU and HMA experience, proprietary d esign rights and possession of necessary special tools, test equipment and facilities, CECS is the only known source at this time capable of providing these services in support of the T55-GA-714A Engine.
