Description

The U. S. Geological Survey requires a Fully Found Vessel to support marine geophysical research in two locations:(a) between Point Dume and off-shore Goleta, California in the western Santa Monica Basin and Santa Barbara Channel; and (b) between Point Conception and Point Arguello, California. Work will proceed during June, 2002. The requirement will last continuously for 19 days mobilization, transit to and from operations areas, science operations at sea, and demobilization. The proposal evaluation criteria, in relative order of importance, is as follows: (1) conformance to minimum desired vessel specifications; (2) crew qualifications and experience; (3) past performance in similar survey work; (4) cost trade-offs and overall value. The Government contemplates a firm fixed-price COMMERCIAL ITEM (services) contract. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency.
