Description

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis to Canberra Industries, Inc for the following service: Renewal of hardware/software maintenance for systems 97-0705 and 97-0706, Agreement No?s 287 and S738. The systems are used to monitor the food supply, both domestic and imported. The period of performance is for twelve (12) months. All responsible sources that can provide and meet the above requirements shall submit written quotations by the due date referenced above. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used for this requirement. Evaluation/Award will be based on the acceptable quote that offers the best value to the government. The award will be made on a sole basis because the service is proprietary to the contractor.
