Blade, Compressor, Air (11 stg). Item 0001 NSN: 2840-01-366-5592 PN 4081611-02. 500 EA. Size/Dimension: 1.8 inches long X 0.8 inches wide. Material of Manufacture: Nickel and Alloy. Form, Fit and Function: Blades used to compress air to create hot pressure gases to rotate the rear compressor and fan drive turbine on 229 engines. Destn: Tinker AFB OK 73145-3032. Delivery: 500 EA 31 May 2002. This requirement is SOLE SOURCE. THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT REQUIRED TO DELAY AWARD PENDING APPROVAL. The approximate issue/response date will be 6 Feb 2002. The anticipated award date is 8 Feb 2002. Note: An Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
