Description: (Item 0001) - 100-ton hydraulic press brake, Brand name "Accurpress" (model number 71008) or equal in accordance with salient characteristics. For a copy of salient characteristics, please contact the point of contact at the number listed below or by e-mail at Robert.jones3@robins.af.mil. Destination: Robins AFB GA 31098-1611. Delivery: TBA 12,000 lb. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being required and a written solicitation will not be issued. The following clauses are applicable to subject solicitation: FAR 52.212-1 (Instructions to Offerors), 52.212-2 (Evaluation - Commercial Items), 52.212-3 (Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items), 52.212-4 (Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items). IAW clause 52.212-2, the evaluation factors shall be: Price and Price related factors, Conformance to performance specifications. Oral Procedures will be used for this solicitation. Quotations may be faxed to (478) 926-3569. The approx. issue/response date is January 21, 2002. The anticipated award will be January 22, 2002.
