Description

The contractor shall provide all management, transportation, tools, supplies, labor materials, parts, and equipment necessary to maintain oil/water separators and grease traps located at Andrews AFB and its affiliated communication sites Brandywine and Davidsonville Maryland. This acquisition is being considered for a Hubzone set-aside. If your firm is Hubzone certified and intends to propose on this acquisition, please provide the following information to the Contracting Officer not later than ten (10) days after the publication of this notice: (1) SBA certification of Hubzone eligibility, (2) capability statement of your firm and, (3) a positive statement that your firm intends to propose on this acquisition. Based upon this response, the Contracting Officer will make a determination if there is a reasonable expectation of adequate competition for award or to proceed with a (Small Business Set-Aside procedure Unrestricted)." NAICS Code 561720, size standard $12.0 mil. The period of performance will be for a one-year basic period with three one-year option periods. The Government reserves the unilateral right to exercise any option periods. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation, notice and all amendments, will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting Systems (EPS) site at www.eps.gov (Note: paper copies will not be issued.) This office anticipates posting the solicitation on or around 25 Jan 02. While the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments pertaining to this solicitation. All prospective offeror?s interested in submitting a proposal must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE CODE) and be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) at www.ccr2000.com This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract; it does not restrict the Government?s ultimate approach; nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation cost.
