Description

NA The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract for billeting of the United States Army Parachute Team on a sole source basis with the Directorate of Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Lodging Office, located at USAYPG, Bldg 506A D Street, Yuma, AZ 85365. The period of performance will be January 16, 2002 through March 24, 2002. USAYPG is in a remote area, located approximately 26 miles from the city of Yuma and MWR has the only lodg ing available within a reasonable commuting distance. Pursuant to FAR Part 12 and 13, this acquisition will be made under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 721110 with a size st andard of $5M. Responses other than MWR may identify their interest to in performing the requirement by submitting a proposal by way of an email to laura.stjohn@yuma.army.mil . Responses must demonstrate your ability to provide lodging for 71 soldiers during the entire period of performance. Responses must be received by 4:00 p.m. Arizona time, January 11, 2001.
