- Description
- Contractor shall provide a complete Telephone System for the Daniel Boone National Forest Supervisor's Office in Winchester, Kentucky. The System shall have the following. A. 1) 112 extensions with 3 digit extension numbering plan; 2) Multiple trunk groups (6 direct in dial trunks and 12 co trunks; 3) Attendant console (4 consoles connected at the same time, headset capable, busy lamp field to view all lines at once); 4) Capability to accomodate Voice over IP in future; 5) Must be able to add minimum of 6 analog phones to system; 6) Power fail transfer; 7) Battery backup; 8) SMDR; 9) Music on hold interface; 10) remote programming (line furnished by maintenance vendor); 11) privacy; 12) Call distribution (stacking/queuing with voice announcement). B. System Features: 1) Conference calling (minimum of 10 phones); 2) Distinctive ringing; 3) Paging interface (paging amplifier supplied by the Forest Service); 4) Last number redial; 5) Speed dial (button, personal, system); 6) Call forwarding; 7) Call waiting; 8) Call pickup; 9) Callback; 10) Camp on; 11) Night service (fixed and flexible) 12) Do not disturb. C. elephones: 1) Speakerphones; 2) Use one pair wires; 3) Digital/Analog; 4) Desk and Wall mount; 5) One-touch transfer. D. Voice Mail: 1) Must be able to accomodate 80-90 users; 2) Must be digital; 3) remote access to voice mail; 4) Time and date stamp. E. System Maintnance: 1) Maximum of 2 hour emergency response time; 2) maximum of 3 working days for moves and changes; 3) Must supply parts for a minimum of 7 years; 4) Must supply a 2/7 emergency phone number for repairs. F. Training: 1) Must provide training on how to use the system to all Supervisor's Office employees; 2) Additional training (extension numberin, voice mail set-up, basic programming, etc. to be provided to System Administrator; 3) Supply literature for each telephone (how to use, features, etc.) 4) Provide console manuel, programming manual and telephone manuals. G. Other Issues and Notes: 1) Two wire cabling in place, may need additional wiring for 5-10 new locations; 2) The Daniel Boone NF will purchase approximately 80-100 new multi-button phone sets (vendor will need to provide a cost for each type of phone offered for system); 3) The Daniel Boone NF will purchase approximately 5-10 digital single line phones; 4) Vendor to provide a cost to install system.
