- Description
- The Commander requires all labor, management, supervisor, tools, materials, equipment, incidental engineering, and transportation necessary to maintain facilities as described herein, including manning of a trouble call desk; performing emergency work, routine service work, and preventive maintenance. The work includes the maintenance of Ansul, Cardox, Chemtrol, Chemtron, Haloz, Fenwall, Fike. Fire Master, Kiddie, Norris, Pemall, Range Guard, and Safety "1" equipment. The work shall include a regularly scheduled inspection and continuing maintenance of carbon dioxide, dry chemical , halon, HFC-227ea, and wet chemical fire extinguishing systems. for the Navy Public Works Center, various locations in the Tidewater area. Work will be accomplished by a firm fixed price and Indefinite Quantity type contract for a period of 12 months. The Government shall have the options to extend the term of the contract services for four additional periods of twelve months. The total contract term, including the exercise of any options shall not exceed 60 months. The applicable Standard Classification (SIC) is 561621 and the standard size is $9M. This solicitation is 100% small business set-aside. This (IFB) will be posted on the NAVFACENGCOM Electronic Solicitation (E-Sol) web site on or about 15 February 2002. Estimated bid opening shall be at least 30 days after the IFB is posted to the E-sol web site.
