- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-02-Q-1660_. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following item: Symmetric multi-processor computer meeting the following requirements: (A) Mainboard/processor Configuration: Supports 400 FSB CPUs and dual 860I chipset XEON FCPGA CPUs; 2Gbyte RDRAM ECC 800MHz on board RAM; Dual SCSI , supporting all SCSI modes through U160. Flash upgradeable to U320; Interchangeable I/O shields for different mainboard configurations; 6 PCI slots and 1 AGP slot, at least 2 64 bit slots; 6 high output chassis fan; 32MB graphics adapter; 1000 base TX gigabit ethernet support; CD-RW/floppy (B) Drive Configurations: 4 X 3.5" internal IDE or SCSI HDD drive bays; 1 slimline CD bay; a slimline FDD bay; 1 standard height 3.5" bay for DDS4 or AIT tape drives; (C) Physical Dimensions: Rack mounted depth 20" (5.25" high x 19" wide x 20" D overall); 4 removeable SCSI/EIDE HDD bays; 20" overall length; (D) Power Supply: Dual standard ATX PS-2 300 watt, auto switching; all power supplies-PFC; _ Required delivery is 30 days after award, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. This is 100% set-aside for small business. NAICS Code is 334111_; size standard is 1000 emp_. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items applies.
