Description

The work to be performed consists of replacing the static excitation system for units 1 and 2 at Mt. Elbert Pumped and Storage Plant. The work includes the removal of existing excitation systems, modifying peripheral equipment of existing excitation systems for re-use with new system and furnishing and installing two new static excitation systems. The Request For Quotion (RFQ) will be made available on or around February 1, 2002. The due date for submission of quotations is tentatively scheduled for February 26, 2002. All reasonable sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. This acquisition is pursuant to FAR Part 12, Commercial Item Acquisition. Additionally, this acquisition is full and open. The Standard Industrial Classification code is 3612. The North American Industry Classification System code is 335311. The small business size standard is 750 employees. To receive a copy of the RFQ, fax a request to Gerri Voto (406) 247-7798.
