Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a competitive requirement for an annual contract to provide Simulator Engineering Program Support for Flight Standards Service, Simulation Engineering Branch, AFS-408, to be performed primarily at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, 6500 S. MacArthur Boulevard, Oklahoma City, OK. The contract will be a Time-and-Material/ Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type, containing a 1-year base period including four 1-year option periods to be exercised at the option of the government. Competition is 100% set-aside for Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Business? (SEDB) certified under Section *a of the Small Business Act by the Small Business administration. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541330. A copy of this certification must accompany any proposal submitted in response hereto. Additional general requirements will be stated in the solicitation package. All interested sources should first attempt to download the solicitation from the Internet. The following notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
