Description

NA The project consists of the construction of the F-1 Channel, Hualapai Way to Beltway (South Bound Frontage Road), Las Vegas Wash and Tributaries (Tropicana and Flamingo Washes). Work includes construction of the F-1 Channel between Hualapai Way to the Bel tway and a portion of the F-2 Channel. Work includes rectangular reinforced concrete flood control channel construction with associated reinforced concrete box road crossings, maintenance roads, confluences, inlets, railing and fencing. This solicitation is 100% 8(a) set-aside and is restricted to competition of 8(a) firms in the Nevada District of the Small Business Administration. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 23499, All Other Heavy Construction, Except Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities, $27.5 M average annual gross revenue for the last three (3) fiscal years. Estimated cost range of the project is over $10,000,000. The solicitation will be made available on or about February 5, 2002. The Government intends to issue this solicitation and all amendments though the use of the Internet. No additional media (CD ROMs, Floppy Disks, Faxes, or paper) will be provided unless the Government determines that it is necessary. Contractors may view/download this solicita tion and all amendments from the Internet after the solicitation issuance at the following Internet address: http://ebs.spl.usace.army,mil. All bidders are required to check the Los Angeles District Contracting Division website daily to be notified of any changes to this solicitation. All Contractors are encouraged to visit the Army?s Single Face to Industry website at http://www.fedbizops.gov/ to view other business opportunities across the Army. Bidders must be registered with the Central Contractor Re gistration (CCR), in order to receive a Government Contract award.
