- Description
- This acquisition is for Non-Lethal Rubber Ball Grenade systems, manufactured in accordance with OEMC Spec 00020. A firm-fixed price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract (ID/IQ) covering a five year period will be issued, and this procurement will be 100% set-aside for Small Business. The system consists of a Rubber Ball Grenade, minimum yearly quantity 20,000 each, maximum yearly quantity 80,000 each; Practice Grenade Body, minimum yearly quantity 15,000 each, maximum yearly quantity 30,000 each; 12 Gauge Launch Cartridge, minimum yearly quantity 15,000 each, maximum yearly quantity 60,000 each; Practice Grenade Fuze, minimum yearly quantity 20,000 each, maximum yearly quantity 120,000 each; and a Launch Cup, minimum yearly quantity 100 each, maximum yearly quantity 1,000 each. Delivery shall be FOB destination, inspection and acceptance will also be at destination. Product samples will be required with proposal submission. Quantities for the product samples are: 32 each Rubber Ball Grenades; 2 each Rubber Ball Grenades (inert rounds); 5 each Grenade practice bodies; 77 each Practice Fuzes; 3 each Launch cups (for Mossberg 500A2); and 110 each 12 gauge launch rounds. Samples will be screened in a two phased process. Phase 1 will involve testing all samples at ambient conditions. Test results will be analyzed and a minimum of two vendors will be selected for Government funded sample purchases in quantities necessary for environmental conditioning and safety testing. One vendor will be chosen to produce all system components. Selection for award will be based on best value, past performance and price. Proposals that are non-compliant with any area of the specification may be rejected without further consideration for award. Numbered note 1 applies.
