Description

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) seeks to increase level of effort under a current contract for technical support services related to the administration of a File Net Image Processing System (IRS). These services require an increase demand for system administration and analyst hours as a direct result of the increase in PBGC participants. This is a continuation of work already undertaken by the existing provider. Due to the complexities of PBGC's technical environment, limited PBGC Government staff for providing oversight, and the time spent learning the work and in order to ensure continuity of the work, it is PBGC's belief that it is in the best interests of the agency for the current contractor to complete the service for the duration of the contract. This is not a request for proposal. See Note 22.
