Description

Bid Item No. 1 - Twin Falls, Idaho - One (1) Type III helicopter fully operated, meeting the requirements of this schedule and the specifications for operation at the designated base, and during the periods shown below. Type III helicopters submitted under this solicitation shall be certified in accordance with 14 CFR FAR Part 27, paragraph 27.143, airworthiness standards normal category rotorcraft, with demonstrated hovering controllability and maneuverability with 17 knot winds from any direction Failure to furnish accurate A/C information as identified herein may render your proposal as unacceptable. Designated Base: Sawtooth National Forest Directions: 5.5 miles south of Twin Falls, Idaho Inspection of A/C Location: Twin Falls Airport, Twin Falls, Idaho Mandatory Availability Dates: June 20, 2002 - September 27, 2002 -- 100 day contract Bid Item No. 2 - Price Valley - One (1) Type II Helicopter fully operated, meeting the requirements of this schedule and the specifications for operation at the designated base, and during the periods shown below: Failure to furnish accurate A/C information as identified herein may render your proposal as unacceptable. Designated Base: Payette National Forest Directions: Price Valley is 12 miles Northwest of New Meadows, Idaho, 6 miles west on Highway 95 then 6 miles north on Price Valley Road. A trailer space with water, power and sewer is available. Inspection of A/C Location: McCall, Idaho - June 4, 2002 Mandatory Availability Dates: June 4, 2002 - September 11, 2002 - 100 day contract. Bid Item No. 3 - One(1) Type II Helicopter fully operated, meeting the requirements of this schedule and the specifications for operation at the designated base, and during the periods shown below: Failure to furnish accurate A/C information as identified herein may render your proposal as unacceptable. Designated Base: Lucky Peak Helibase Directions: Luck Peak Helibase is located 18 miles NE of Boise, Idaho on Highway 21. Base located at the Forest Service Nursery. Inspection of A/C Location: Lucky Peak Helibase Mandatory Availability Period: June 5, 2002 - September 22, 2002 -- 110 day contract NEED FULL DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES TO BE PROCURED Contract duration is one year from date of award, with the possibility of two -- one-year renewal periods.
