Description

This solicitation is for the replacement of four of eight liquid fuel pumps and motors for a Type III aircraft fueling system on Ellsworth AFB, SD. The work will be performed in a hazardous noise area. The fueling operations for the remaining four pumps shall be operational at all times. A single award will be made on Price and Performance Tradeoff, where performance is considered more important than cost. This action is open to both large and small business. This is an internet only solicitation. Documents will not be available via other means. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 23491. The size standard is $11,500,000.00. The magnitude is between $100,000.00 to $250,000.00 A pre-proposal conference and site visit is tentatively scheduled for 06 Feb 02 at 10:00 A.M. local time. Location for the pre-proposal conference is the 28th Contracting Squadron, 1000 Ellsworth Street, Ellsworth AFB, SD.
