Description

NA The Integrated Aviation Systems 21 Working Group (IAS21WG), AATD, intends to acquire on an other than full and open competitive basis, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, EMC-35A FADEC system training designed specifically for mechanics and pilots. Course content will cover the EMC-35A FADEC system incorporated on the Rolls-Royce 250-C30R3/M engine. A fixed price indefinite quantity type contract is anticipated. Period of performance is anticipated to be twelve months. Place of performance will be Richm ond and Fort Campbell, KY. The intended source of supply is Chandler-Evans Control Systems, 1 Charter Oak Blvd., West Hartford, CT 06133. As the original equipment manufacturer of the EMC-35A FADEC system, Chandler-Evans Control Systems possesses the tec hnical data rights to the system, and therefore is the only source available to provide the training for same. The Government does not possess and cannot furnish the technical data required to perform the effort. A solicitation will not be issued as we i ntend to negotiate an Order for Commercial Items utilizing Alpha contracting procedures. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency.
