Description

NA This is a market research survey to locate sources for the acquisition of Reflector, Antenna, PN: SM-D-600839 is also the drawing number. This reflector is part of the AN/PPS-5D Radar Set, man-portable ground surveillance radar. The reflector has a conca ve parabolic shape and is made of hard fiberglass surrounding an aluminum wire mesh with a ?flexcore? honeycomb center. Suppliers capable of furnishing the reflectors must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-IEW-C-SN, Building 1201E, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5000. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supp ly the Army with a unit that will physically and functionally interchangeable with the unit from the previous supplier. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
