Description: NA The following changes are made to the advance notification for DACA41-02-R-0002 -- CONSTRUCTION OF MODIFIED RECORD FIRING RANGE, COMBAT PISTOL RANGE, AND 25-METER ZERO FIRE RANGE, AT FT. RILEY, KANSAS. The solicitation will be issued on or about 01 Feb 200 2. The Proposal due date will be on or about 04 Mar 2002. Army standards for firing ranges are available online at http://www.hnd.usace.army.mil/rtlp/index.htm. A formal site visit will be conducted on or about 15 February 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fort Ri ley Area Office, Bldg. 322 Marshall Ave., Fort Riley, KS 66442. Point of Contact for site visit is Mike Istas, Project Engineer 785-239-6461. New security procedures are in effect. You must have photo identification and proof of auto registration and insur ance to enter the installation. Allow extra time for clearing security checkpoints. Offerors must sign and return within 5 days of receipt, a Security Acknowledgement Form issued with the solicitation. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in removal from the planholder's list. Offerors are reminded that they must register online at www.nwk.usace.army.mil in order to be on the official mailing list for solicitation and any amendments.
