Box 1609, Oceanside, Ca 92051-1609 SUBJECT: J043--MAINT REPAIR OF EQ/PUMPS & COMPRESSORS SOL M00681-02-T-0086 DUE 25 JAN 02 POC Gloria Muchemore, Contract Specialist 760-725-1937 DESC: This is a combined synopsis/slicitaton for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. The service is for; item 0001. Service contract to test and repair barrel pumps in lubrication room at Facility 21671, (pumps do not work and exact nature of problem is not known). 0002. Services to repair overhea d reel at Facility 21671. (problem has no power and electrical cable cord is missing. Does not roll back). 0003. Services to repair hose reel seals overhead located in Facility 43543. (problem: leak in the LVS bay near the overhead oil lines). 0004. Services to calibrate shutoff timer on west bay oil pumps at Facility 43352. (Need shutoff timer changed from 1700 hours to 3100 hours.) 0005. Service to repair oil pumps (pull down). Located in BLdg. 43543. (Note: pump is inoperable and will not produce oil). 0006. Service to repair fuel truck #287783 located at 26 area yard. Problem: Air vent fuel system needs a new boot and repairs certified. PTO pump for pumping fuel does not pump fuel. NOTE: A SITE VISIT WILL BE REQUIRED FOR THIS PROCUREMENT. TIME AND DATE WILL BE GIVEN wHEN ALL BIDS ARE RECIEVED. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and cla uses in effect through FAC 97-27 and DAC 91-13. This is a 100% small business set aside under simplified acquisition procedures, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 3333911 And the small business standard size is 750 EMPLOYEES. All responsible sources may submit a quote by providing descriptive literature of how your product meets the needs of the Government; past performance of at least two recent references where the Contractor has sold the same product. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible quoter whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate quotations: 1) price, 2) technical and 3. Past performance. Only bids in the competitive range will be considered for award. All Contractors submitting a quote are r eminded that you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database to be considered for award.
