Description
NAICS Code: 5616 STATEMENT OF WORK MAINTENANCE CONTRACT FOR EPA SECURITY SYSTEM SCOPE To provide continuous preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to the security hardware for the Environmental Protection Agency, located at 999 18th street, Denver, CO.,and at the Environmental Protection Agency's Regional Laboratory, located at 16194 W. 45th Drive, Golden, CO. The contractor will perform a quarterly inspection of the electronic locking devices which are security equipment located at the Downtown Denver office and the Laboratory in Golden, to ensure proper function and a report of findings will be provided within 3 working days of the inspection. Contractor will provide a two hour response time on emergency maintenance calls and must have emergency repair service available on a 24 hour basis for after hour repairs.Please provide a separate price for this in your quotation. This is critical since the security equipment is securing Federal Government space. EQUIPMENT COVERED The equipment to be covered and maintained in the contract is the following: (1) electronic or manual locking devices on the doors. To include but not be limited to: (2) panic bars, (3) magnetic locks, (4) electronic door strikes, and (5) motion detectors and (6) door releases. The General Services Administration, Federal Protective Service is responsible for maintaining all duress alarms, micros, and proximity card readers, and alarm contacts. KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED Contractor must be knowledgeable and have experience in maintaining security hardware. Technicians must be capable of maintaining and repairing the above listed equipment and related security items. OTHER REQUIREMENTS FOR CONTRACTOR Contractor must be bonded and carry no less than $1,000,000.00 in Workers Compensation; $1,500,000.00 in Comprehensive & General Liability; $500,000.00 in Property Damage, insurance and provide proof of such. Contractor must provide a detailed break out of charges for labor, after hours labor, parts and must identify charges that are not covered in maintenance contract. GENERAL The contractor shall provide payment schedule. Payment to be made monthly. Contractor will provide EPA with a preventative maintenance inspection schedule and contact names and numbers of personnel who will be working on the contract. There will be only three persons able to place calls for service on behalf of the Environmental Protection Agency.
