Description: Weather Observation Service for Vandenberg AFB CA. The Government is currently performing this service, and a direct-conversion study under OMB Circular A-76 is being conducted. A contract will not result if Government performance is determined to be more advantageous. The proposed period of performance is basic 1 Oct 02 to 30 Sep 03, and four option years. This acquisition is set aside for small business. The NAICS code is 541990, size standard $5 million. Anticipated date for issuance of RFP is 1 Mar 02.
