Description
NA The Defense Threat Reduction Agency seeks information as to potential sources which can provide a wide range of services to support managers in preparation for and oversight of the mission of the On-Site inspection Directorate (OS). This is a SOURCES SOUG HT SYNOPSIS; there is no solicitation available at this time. No response will be provided for requests for a solicitation. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS IS PUBLISHED FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSEs ONLY. DTRA's mission is to safeguard America and its frien ds from weapons of mass destruction (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and high explosives) by reducing the present threat and preparing for the future threat. The OS supports the Agency's mission through its arms control treaty monitoring and o n-site inspections. The mission of OS is to: conduct U.S. Government (USG) inspections and coordinate foreign inspections under arms control treaties and agreements; plan and prepare for future agreements; execute tasks furthering USG arms control and th reat reduction initiatives; organize, train, equip, and deploy inspection, audit and examination, monitoring and escort teams; and accomplish other tasks requiring the unique skills resident in OS. DTRA is seeking sources to provide program support by ass isting OS managers in the areas of planning, organizing, preparation, integration, reporting, maintenance logistics, training, and outreach of specified programs. Tasks may fall within the following categories: (1) Technical, Analytical and Management Su pport: Assist OS managers with initial assessments and impacts, review and revision of relevant documents, implementation planning and execution, technical and analytical support, strategic planning, coordination, and quick response support; (2) Defense T reaty Inspection Readiness and Outreach Support: technical, program and administrative support for onsite security training, advice and assistance, to include site assessments, training materials, information pamphlets, circulars, etc.; (3) Equipment/Syste m Support: technical and analytical support for treaty/mission equipment or information systems, including operation and maintenance of equipment, systems and procedures; (4) Training: technical, administrative or general support services (facilities, eq uipment, materials, etc.) for treaty or mission-related training courses, seminars, and meetings for language, military or civilian training; and (5) Planning: support for OS DTRA arms control and treaty planning activities. DTRA's intent is to award a s ingle Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for performance of these services. It is currently anticipated that the contract will have a period of performance of five years. This SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS is NOT a Request for Proposals (RFP); it is a market research tool being used to determine the availability of sources prior to issuing an RFP. Any information submitted by respondents as a result of this synopsis is strictly voluntary. This synopsis is for information planning purposes and th e Government will not pay or otherwise reimburse respondents for information submitted. Prospective suppliers are requested to provide company literature and/or provide a capability summary not to exceed five (5) pages in length describibg their relevant corporate experience providing these types of services in support of arms control treaties and agreements.
